I do apologize for my absence. I have been in a dizzy state the last couple of days spending most of my “awake” time in bed suffering from a cold from hell. The problem is, now it has gotten slightly worse and my ears hurt more and the fever is back after feeling ok yesterday. It might have something to do with the sunbathing today when I thought I was doing much better. Must probably see the doctor Monday if I am not better by tomorrow evening.
Even though I am feeling rubbish I am totally restless and stressed, need to get well before my France holiday! Yes, I am leaving on a plane first thing Wednesday morning and by then I want to feel like an eneregized 12 yr old on the night before her birthday. But, there are good things in all bad. My weight! I have lost 2 kilos since Sunday, I have eaten slightly less due to lack of appetite and because I haven’t moved much I don’t get so much appetite as I normally do. I haven’t trained since last Friday and it is no fat loss here, muscle and fluid. But the minus on the scale is always a perk! I do miss my gym and I can see my muscles and abs shrinking away. However, I am listening to my body and taking it real easy (a few swim laps in the lake doesn’t count!).
Today is a day to remember in many ways. I had a glorious couple of hours with my BFF, A. She had a CF-day (child free) and it was quality time spent with this old lady. First a coffee in the sun at Gateaux then off in our bikinis to our local mini beach by our lake 5 minutes away. We were the only two adults without kids but it was a nice day. And, for the first time since I was 14 (when I first got to know her) she was diving in the water!!! Can’t recall ever witnessing that before. After our sunbathing we headed home to our separate homes to get in front of our TVs to see our Swedish Princess Madeleine getting married to her Chris. Oh my! I was sobbing like the hopeless romantic I am (in secret). It was a beautiful and personal ceremony and Chris O’Neill, who I previously knew very little about and who I had a pretty bland perception of, was the sweetest gentleman. His face when he saw his bride coming up the aisle set off the water works in my sofa at least. The Valentino dress the Princess was wearing was a beauty and Madeleine herself was even more so. Oh, I felt up with joy and a over flowing wish to find a prince of my own to live happily ever after with. Good things come to those who wait (I keep telling myself). Or let’s say this, I’ve had my share of heart ache the last couple of years and I loudly proclaim: THE TIME HAS COME TO GET THE LOVE RIGHT!
You know what? My throat is so swollen and sore now that it hurts even thinking about talking. So, time for pain killers, cough medicine and hopefully a better night’s sleep. I will end this post with a bunch of pictures instead. (Also the Notebook is on and I will watch it pretending that Ryan Gosling is pining for me…).
Love divine! Our beautiful princess and her Chris. He said I will and she said JA!
A’s and me texting and crying and watching the ceremony all at the same time.
Undamaged, non shitty and all pleasure love? Come out come out wherever you are! Ove the dog and I steadily on the look out.
OMG! Soaking wet rain scene in the boat and now kissing like freaks is on. Got to go loveys!
Tata for now and love conquers all!
