The weekend came and went as a breeze. Well It was a good one, hot and sunny and I got drunk with my BFF. Yes on day 27 the todoortodontist did it and had wine and pimm’s! Not at all according to whole30. That means 2 days extra on the program to make up for the alcohol. No regrets! And there is my confession.
On Sunday my pappa B came and he brought me a perfect present (totally out of the blue). A food processor! And man, did i process food in that little machine?! I made broccoli fritatas, I made a gorgeous roasted pepper and avocado mash, a mixture for almond bread (yes, I had bread for the first time in 4 weeks!). Not all at the same time, but close. The entire Sunday was about cooking and training! And now I can do my banana pancakes in my new machine. I feel like a messy little engjneer in the kitchen mixing, crushing and whipping up glorious food. Cooking is so much fun at the moment. I L.O.V.E it!
Sunday, hungover and the perfect breakfast to heal it! Antioxidants to the max!
The premiere run is done. And it was not as good as I had hoped. Not due to the crock pot, but due to my poor seasoning skills and I should have put it on low cook for longer. The pull porked did not result in pork to be pulled.Roasting red peppers and baking – Sunday is cooking day!Mix crushed flax seeds, sun flower seeds, walnuts, almond flour with eggs and melted coconut oil. 8 minutes in the oven and there is something gorgeous to put in your mouth. Try it with avocado and a dash of tapenade and you will be smiling. Promise!Monday night is all about – feet up and BREATHING.
Ok folks. Over and out. Need sleep cause pappa B snores like the bear he is and I can hear him starting all ready. Through the walls and through the noise from Swedish Idol on TV4. Tomorrow it is PT-session with Fanny and I need to be rested to kick ass, literally.
G’nite and TTYL!
Ulrika – the happy sinner.
