An eternity has come and passed since last. Our family was struck by ligthning Sunday on the 5th of Jan when my mother suffered several minor strokes in her right side of the brain. She is now on the mend, stubborn, fighting and in all the angst and fear of being close to death we are optimistic, angry, sad all in one big mix of emotions. She is strong and determined and I am her biggest fan.
Family and love first. No cautionary tales needed. Just take care of yourselves and the ones you love and breathe a few extra deep breaths. And get up and move!

Mamma jag älskar dig. Detta fixar DU, och vi!
Also a warm big up to all the nurses and doctors, the physio therapists and the adl-therapists of Neuro OBS and avdelning 2 on SUS. I am humbled and so thankful that you have been the ones and that you will be the ones aiding my mum to recovery. The entire team surrounding her is buzzing of love, competence and understanding. Forever thank you.
Tata for now lovemonkeys – updates will follow when life is back to more everyday like routines.
Ulrika – worried but very thankful and hopeful.
